Upside Down Flamingos….

My husband is a Navy Veteran, a real man that knows man stuff I call it and is what I call an old fashioned man. About a couple years ago, I bought him some regular button down shirts with pocket for his pens, glasses, etc that were fresh, maybe a bit fashion forward but yet true to his likes. Today, we are what has become our full time place for RVing although we will be doing traveling during these times here but being older, we like a stationary place that suits all our needs. Anyway, back to the shirts…. As we were researching everything about RVs for the last year, we learned about the colored scrub mesh balls hanging in the windows of the RVs and what each color meant, the upside pineapple, etc. Fairly recently we learned of the upside flamingos all having to do with being swingers and which way you would swing.

Lo and Behold, Here he comes out wearing one of those shirts I found for him (which actually looks nice on him) and he laughs and said I thought I’d wear this today lol I had forgotten about the flamingos upside down on the shirt. I’m thinking OMG, what will these people think of us … Almost 70, and we are friendly as all get out, and here he is wearing a swing shirt lolol. But you know, at this age you really don’t care what people think truthfully, as life is too short to worry about the silly things. So I guess life will go on for us and if we ever have a man or woman acting a little too friendly, We will head them off right away lolol Who says you’re too old to learn new things lol.
