If you are looking for a clean, cared for, quiet place to make a full time home for your RV and a place you enjoy calling home, this is the place. It is a hidden gem in a valley between mountains. It’s not a resort RV Park, but it’s a tranquil, well cared for and safe feeling place to call home. Jesse, the owner I assume has been my go to when planning our travel here and within a couple of days, we found our home. He is helpful, caring, looks out for everyone here. There is an office when you drive in the place and you’ll see two trash bins for your trash. There is a laundry facility and two bathrooms that are available. It is small compared to most you see but that is part of the beauty. There is a community here. Yes, some will come and go, but most in my opinion, are life time residents. It is quiet, people are friendly, and several dog lovers here so they are our kind of people lol

This area is known for whitewater rafting. The Ocoee River is somewhat close and there are multiple businesses along the highway that cater to that. I do think the summer will get busy and more traffic with that but that’s only in the summer, etc. The scenery is breathtaking. Natural, real, and just what we were looking for. They do have many people here I would guess are full timers, so if that is something you are interested in, I would say check it out soon or make your reservation, as I see them filling in everywhere around here during summer.

You have a town that I would guess to be about 20 miles called Cleveland, TN. About two miles up from the RV Park, is a restaurant called Ocoee Dam Deli & Diner. We ate our first meal as a take out from them today. The prices were very reasonable for what we got, They are nice people but the best thing about it was their food is absolutely Delicious! It’s home cooking type food. We both endorse them 100 percent as we loved it. We will definitely be their continual customers. Just a skip and a holler from them is a restaurant called The Ocoee Gondolier, all on Highway 64 so real easy to come and go. They have Pizza, Greek Specialties, Steaks, chicken, etc, Italian Specialties. That is our next place to try but every time we go by, there, we see multiple cars so that says a lot showing they are worth going too lol Just a little bit further is a restaurant called Blue Hole BBQ. We haven’t been there yet but we love BBQ of any kind. So it will be on our list too. Just a bit further is a McDonalds, Hardees, and multiple gas stations around you. You have a wonderful grocery store called Food City that is amazing and has about anything you can want. All these places are along the highway but spread out a little in between one another so you are still able to feel out in the open but conveniences close.

We have made this our full time home, even though at times we will be traveling some. But here, If we are going to be gone for a couple of weeks, I feel like our lot is in good hands. Remember to be courteous to the owners, don’t just assume you can do anything you want, develop good communication with them just like anywhere and you will feel you are in good hands. Hope this helps! I posted the website along with their address information and their website. The website will give you their information and feel free to call Jesse if interested in full time living as he will be able to tell you if and what is available and the pricing. Hope to see you here!!

Review on The Ocoee Gondolier

Ocoee, TN

Today, we having been doing a lot of work unpacking on our RV and just didn’t feel like cooking. So we decided to try the next restaurant on our list. Today we ordered from The Ocoee Gondolier. Again, as I said previously it was also very close to the RV Park. There was a special on Sunday that included Spaghetti with salad and garlic bread. My husband loves Italian pasta dishes so he ordered that. I ordered a Hamburger with fries and 3 pieces of the garlic bread. Well, let’s just say I continue to get 10 out of 10 on Not only the RV Park but both restaurants we have tried so far. All our food was delicious, again, the prices were reasonable, but the quality of the food was AMAZING!! I highly recommend this restaurant. We now have two favorite restaurants and so conveniently close to us. Check them out!! You won’t regret it!!!
