5 days left until….

RV Life is slowly among us. We will officially be in our RV full time and begin our journey. It is going to be a VERY busy next few days and will tie up loose ends before we take off. I apologize for past posts all about my eye, but I wanted to educate people as it is a major deal that others don’t see so it’s easy for others to minimize, or assume a patient is overreacting. but that is not true, You do though learn to deal with it better and it gradually, although very slowly, does get better. There will be ups and downs but until my next surgery on my left eye, I will be focusing on RV Life. I decided to add a section about reviews from personal experience on places we go, likes or dislikes, etc. The list will grow in time as we experience our own adventures but I promise you that any comments we make will be truthful and honest for interactions with a facility. So those that are wondering, we have purchased a Thor Toy Hauler. We have two medium to large dogs and since we are slowly reaching that 70 age mark, our fur babies are our life. The inside of our RV is small but we do have two slideouts which is nice. The Toy hauler part is where we will do some redesigning once we are living in it. We are going to get a combo washer/dryer and have a small freezer. Other wise we will fit it to our needs. Our kids and grandkids live all over the nation so this will make it easier to see them periodically. We love to grill and smoke meat and even though I’m partial to him, Tom has learned slowly and does a wonderful job of smoking meat and grilling. With my eye surgeries, etc I have to eat a LOT of protein and being on the immune suppressant meds, I will keep him busy cooking lolol. I’m a Kansas/Midwest/Farm girl and nothing like meat especially beef!!!

The dogs have been out in the RV some and I am thinking they love it in the way they act. It will be better when we are stationed and can open slideouts while we are there for awhile.
